We are a 4-star graded family-run guest house in centre of Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. We currently have 4 large superior rooms with balconies, 3 unique luxury rooms with patios, 13 comfortable studio rooms, and 2 family-suites. All rooms offer private entrances and balconies / patios. We also offer long term accommodation at a reduced rate. We have an a stunning deck with a view over Nelspruit and the Lowveld area, ideal for watching the sunset or having some sundowners. We have two swimming pools and outside barbeque facilities, as well as abundant bird life in our lavish gardens.
We opened our doors in March 2010, and our first guests were from Adidas, who came to do marketing before the 2010 Soccer World Cup.
The Soccer World Cup was our first major event, and the vibe at Zebrina Guest House was amazing, with Germans, Italians, South Africans and many others dining around our long table and boasting about their teams.
The guest house was originally Robert & Annelie's family home which they built in 1982. Robert was always busy changing or adding something to the home and build the viewing deck in 2004.
For Robert, Annelie, Robbie and Adéle transforming the original family house into a guest house involved 14 months of hard work, highs and lows and every emotion in between, but at the end we could open our doors and welcome our guests with pride.
During 2011 the neighbouring house was acquired. Six new standard rooms wre added. Presently Zebrina Guest House has 9 luxury rooms, 4 comfortable standard rooms and 10 modern studio rooms, of which quite a few was upgraded recently.
We are grateful for 6 wonderful, busy years during which we hosted loyal regular guests as well as many casual guests and foreigners, dined and laughed with them, and shared in their woes.
Zebrina Guesthouse is a family-owned and managed establishment, therefore our staff compliment is part of our "extended family". Guests will experience that all staff members, from housekeeping, ladies serving your breakfast and cleaning your room, the gardeners sweeping the driveway or carrying some luggage, to the front office making your booking and welcoming you on arrival, that everyone has the same goal - to provide you with the best service possible and you feel at home. As managers and owners we also like to socialize with guests, whether at our long dinner table, or around the fire when we join in for a barbeque. Be assured that you can always approach any of our friendly staff with requests you may have, and we will always do our utmost to assist you or refer you somewhere if we cannot meet your need.
